1203 42nd St, Indianapolis 46205 INDIANA STATE FAIRGROUNDS · Opening September 2026
About · The Farm

We’re building a baseball institution for Indianapolis.

An indoor, year-round facility at the Indiana State Fairgrounds — designed by former Major Leaguers, dedicated to developing ballplayers and people of character.

01 Coaches

Built by people who’ve been there.

Our staff brings firsthand Major League experience — not just résumés. Postseason innings, championship clubhouses, big-league bullpens, and pro scouting eyes, now turned toward the next generation of Indianapolis ballplayers.

01
Head of Baseball · Pitching Coach

Cory Wade

Cory built his reputation as a knowledgeable baseball professional through years inside championship-caliber clubhouses and high-pressure postseason environments. A right-handed reliever with the Los Angeles Dodgers and later the New York Yankees, Wade pitched meaningful innings for playoff contenders and learned within organizations led by respected figures such as manager Joe Torre while sharing clubhouses with elite players including Clayton Kershaw, Derek Jeter, and Mariano Rivera. After his playing career, Wade transitioned that firsthand experience into talent evaluation as a scout for the San Diego Padres.

02
Pitching Coach

Dillon Peters

Dillon Peters built an impressive professional career through determination, skill, and a deep love for pitching. After starring at the University of Texas at Austin, he was drafted by the Miami Marlins and reached Major League Baseball. Peters later pitched for the Los Angeles Angels and Pittsburgh Pirates, and took his talents overseas to Japan with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows of Nippon Professional Baseball, gaining international experience and learning new approaches to the game.

03
Pitching Coach

Justin Masterson

Justin built a Major League career defined by perseverance, adaptability, and excellence. Breaking into the big leagues with the Boston Red Sox in 2008, his hard work culminated in a standout 2013 season and a selection to the MLB All-Star Game. He made significant postseason contributions with both Boston and Cleveland, and finished his career with over 1,000 strikeouts and a reputation as a top-of-the-rotation pitcher.

04
Pitching Coach

Pete Lannoo

Pete was a minor league pitcher with the San Francisco Giants organization where he learned the discipline, preparation, and craft it takes to compete at the professional level. He now brings that pro-development perspective directly to The Farm — teaching the same drills, mechanical cues, and mental approach he was taught inside a big-league system.

05
Hitting Coach

Hunter Owen

Hunter Owen is the head baseball coach at Carmel High School and a former Major League Baseball player with the Pittsburgh Pirates. His career path has taken him from Indiana high school baseball all the way to the big leagues — and back home again. At The Farm, he leads hitting instruction with the same blend of pro-level standards and homegrown Indiana grit.

06

Coming Soon!

We are excited to partner with leading strength & conditioning coaches from the Indianapolis region.

02 Farmhands

The crew that makes the day-to-day run.

03 Sponsors

The businesses funding access to the game.

Every sponsorship dollar goes directly into scholarships, equipment, and keeping rates low for Indianapolis families. We name our sponsors — proudly — because they make the mission possible.

04 Partners

Organizations we build alongside.

Partners are not sponsors — they’re the schools, leagues, and community organizations whose missions overlap with ours. Together we get more Indy kids on the field.
